This picture shows the eyes attached. The arches over the eyes are made from the same epoxy and cotton material and attached with epoxy. The eyes are carved from a wine cork with a piece of thin stiff wire glued in. There is a black plastic washer below the eyes which lets them turn easily.
The eyes turn by twisting the stiff wires going down to the control. The picture below shows how the eyes are rigged with rubberbands, soon to be changed to longer lasting elastic.
The same control slides up and down on the wires with a piece of monofilament attached to work the mouth.
A little paint and we're ready for the cloth body and some froggy hands.
